Preschool Preview Book

Special Education teachers Jennie Chien and Jennifer Martinez from Learning Links Preschool in Burlingame, California recommend that families preparing their toddler for the first day of preschool create a preschool preview book.  “It’s a great way for the child to become familiar with their new environment,” said Jennie Chien. “We use visuals in our class to help students with transitions,” said Jennifer Martinez. “Take pictures of everything from cubbies, to teachers to the playground and make review it with your child leading up to the first day of school,” recommends Chien.
