Police Officers & Fire Fighters

POLICE OFFICER

If I am lost or need help, I can ask a Police Officer.

A Police Officer usually wears a blue or black uniform with a badge and drives a car with lights on the top.

I should not be scared of a police officer because they are there to help me.

FIRE FIGHTER

I can ask a firefighter for help if:
I am lost.
I get in a car accident.
there is a fire.

Fire fighters wear big heavy jackets that are usually red, yellow or black.

Fire fighters will sometimes wear big heavy hats or masks to protect them from fires.

I should not be scared of a fireman wearing a big mask because they are there to help me.

If a fire fighter or police officer talks to me, I will try to use my words so they can help me.

I will tell them:
my name
phone number
my parent’s name
my address

It is important to remember that fire fighters and police officers are there to help me.
