Cassy Christianson, OTR/L
Cassy Christianson, OT, is a licensed occupational therapist (University of Florida) and a credentialed feeding and swallowing specialist with experience in g-tube weaning and sensory feeding issues. She has extensive graduate work in therapy for multi-sensory impairments (deaf-blind) as well as advanced training in Neurodevelopmental treatment (NDT), oral-motor therapy (Beckman, Boshart and Rosenfeld-Johnson methods). Her professional interests include prematurity, motor development, and bilingual education.
Christianson was the Director of Children's Services at the largest non-profit serving people with disabilities in San Mateo County of California (Community Gatepath), where she was instrumental in the start up of their fully inclusive preschool (Learning Links). Prior to Community Gatepath, she was an Occupational Therapist at Stanford: Packard Children's Hospital. Christianson currently consults for CommunityGatepath and is the Content director for AbilityPath.org.
Cassy Christianson lives in Northern California with her husband and three young sons in a bilingual home. She enjoys yoga and hiking.
