Gross Motor and Sensory
- Limbs and trunk feel floppy and excessively loose
- Arms and legs are stiff when moved during dressing and changing
- Moves arms and legs in only a limited way
- Is unable to maintain a position on the stomach
Fine Motor and Vision
- Arms and trunk feel floppy and excessively loose
- Moves arms and legs in only a limited way
- Arms and legs are stiff when moved during dressing and changing
- Does not follow moving objects with eyes
- Does not notice hands
- Eyes cross or turn out
Language and Speech
- Babbles in a limited way or not at all
- Does not respond to loud noises
Cognitive, or Social and Emotional
- Does not smile
- Does not pay attention to new faces
Daily Routines
- Has trouble soothing self or maintaining a calm state
- Breathes heavily, snores, or has trouble breathing, which interferes with sleep
- Persistently turns head to only one side while lying or sleeping
- Is excessively distressed with routines of dressing, diapering, and bathing
- Is not comforted when held
- Has trouble with sucking and feeding or feeds slowly
